Welcome to One Health - All Ireland for European Surveillance
The One Health: All Ireland for European Surveillance (OH-ALLIES) project is a collaborative EU-funded three-year research project with partners from government, academia and private enterprise.
The collaboration aims to enhance the capacities of competent authorities in charge of both human and animal health and to develop a framework that will support a sustainable long-term, multidisciplinary approach to One Health surveillance activities on the island of Ireland.

One Health is defined by the World Health Organisation as an integrated, unifying approach that aims to sustainably balance and optimize the health of people, animals and ecosystems. It recognizes that the health of humans, domestic and wild animals, plants, and the wider environment (including ecosystems) are closely linked and interdependent
